21 Jul 2010 : Summer Comings and Goings
The school is shut from Friday the 23rd July 2010.



The school is losing Miss Whitwam, Miss Lulat, Miss Burns to new employemts and Miss Sthather to retirement.



The school would like to welcome our new teachers for next year Mr Williams, Miss Jones, Mr Clark, Miss Mcdonnell, Miss Graham - Cummins and Miss Hylands.



School re-opens on Thursday 2nd September 2010.

11 Feb 2010 : SHAFTESBURY ARE NEWHAM INDOOR CRICKET CHAMPIONS
Shaftesbury Cricket Club beat Vicarage Primary School on Thursday night in a thrilling finish. Vicarage won the toss and bowled first, Shaftesbury batted well and set a total of 71. It came down to the last ball and Vicarage fell 4 runs short of victory with 68. Well done everyone who has played in the tournament so far.

08 Feb 2010 : SCHOOL HALF TERM COMING SOON....
The February Half term holiday will start soon with the school closed between Monday 15th February and Friday 19th February. We will open again on Monday 22nd february. We hope you all have an good holiday.

27 Jan 2010 : SHAFTESBURY QUALIFY FOR NEWHAM FINAL
Shaftesbury Cricket Club have qualified for the Newham Final of teh British Land League Indoor Cricket Competition. They will now play the winner of another group with the winners of that playing in the London Finals at the home of cricket Lords.

18 Jan 2010 : SHAFTESBURY CRICKET CLUB ENTERS INDOOR LEAGUE
Shaftesbury Cricket Club have joined the Britsh Land League Indoor Competition. Being played at Rokerby over the next 5 weeks the Finals are held at the Home of Cricket Lords.

18 Jan 2010 : EASTER CRICKET WEEK 2010
Shaftesbury Primary School is pleased to announce it is working with Cricket for Change, Gidea PArk and Romford CC, and The Marylebone Cricket Club to run Urban Cricket Week. The only event of its type will run between Monday April 12th, and Friday 16th April 2010. Letters have been sent out to children and more details are available on the link in the left hand menu.

The staff and children at Shaftesbury Primary School would like to thank the parents and carers, staff and everyone who has helped the school beat the big freeze.
