 Pupil Premium – 2013/      2014 total = £132,000.00

The school has again invested pupil premium money in additional teaching staff in years 1,2,3,4,5 and 6.This follows the successful impact of the premium spend last year, within the closing the gap project. Furthermore we have employed for two days a week an Author in Malcolm Richards to work with year 5 and 6 children. Please see 2013 KS2 results above.

2012/13 total = £88, 200

£55 000 used for two additional full-time supporting teachers in mathematics and literacy in years 2 and 6, to work with small groups of under-achievers. 

£53 025 used for an additional 3 teachers for KS2 to work with small groups of under-achievers in Mathematics and English as well as 1 additional TA for 15 weeks for Emotional and Behavioural 1:1 support.

Outcomes 

Improved attitudes to learning and increased engagement of pupils. 

Increased frequency of interactions between teachers and pupils. 

Increased opportunities for children to speak and read English. 

Accelerated learning across the curriculam.
