Pupil Premium

2014/15 total = £224 900

The school invested pupil premium money in full-time permanent additional teaching staff in Years 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 and in full-time well qualified teaching assistants allocated to every class. All TAs will be fully trained in the (Read, Write Incorporated) RWI programme. TAs in KS 2 deployed routinely for 1;1 reading conferences.

2013/2014 total = £132,000.00

The school has again invested pupil premium money in additional teaching staff in Years 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. This follows the successful impact of the premium spend last year, within the closing the gap project. Furthermore we have employed for two days a week an Author in Malcolm Richards to work with Year 5 and 6 children. Please see 2013 and 2014 KS2 results above.
